The Story of A Little Bloom
How a little girl turned her love of flowers into a little business
A Little Bloom started with a simple idea.
Aleksia is nine years old and has always loved flowers, plants and the little pieces of nature that people sometimes walk past without noticing.
She began collecting flowers and plants, carefully drying them and discovering how beautiful they could become when they were preserved. Before long, she was placing her favourite pieces into frames and hanging them around the house.
Friends and family began noticing them.
They asked, “Where did you get that?”
The answer was simple:
“I made it.”
That gave Aleksia an idea.
What if she could make her little botanical artworks for other people too?
And so A Little Bloom was born.
Each piece is carefully made by Aleksia. She chooses the flowers, prepares them, dries and presses them and then creates each framed artwork by hand.
Because flowers are naturally different, every A Little Bloom piece is unique. Some are delicate, some are colourful, some are tiny and some are wonderfully imperfect.
But that’s what makes them special.
A Little Bloom isn’t about making everything perfect. It’s about noticing the beauty in nature, preserving a little moment and turning it into something that can be enjoyed for years to come.
Most importantly, it is Aleksia’s little business — created from her curiosity, creativity and love of flowers.
